Bio

Brac Brady became the Athletic Director at Reid State in September of 2024.  He brings a wealth of experience in athletic administration, having served in a variety of roles at several college institutions. As an administrator at the University of Maine at Machias, Brady started the golf program and had direct contact with the team in their inaugural seasons.  Brady has a love for the game of golf and is excited to lead the golf program at Reid State.

Most recently, Brady worked at Auburn University at Montgomery (AUM) as the Intramural and Club Sport Coordinator from 2015-24.  Prior to his time at AUM, Brady served as an Athletic Director at the University of Maine at Machias and Assistant Athletic Director at Tennessee Temple University. In conjunction with his administrative duties, Brady spent 18 years coaching college basketball.  Two seasons as an assistant coach and 16 seasons as a head coach. Listed are some of his accomplishments as a coach.

Tennessee Temple University – Won the Mid-East Region Championship and finished in seventh place at the National Christian College Athletic Association National Tournament with a final record of 23-13.  Brady was named the Mid-East Region 2012-13 Coach of the Year.

University of Maine at Machias – Won over 150 games in 9 seasons including a regular season Sunrise Conference Championship (NAIA) in 2007. The Clippers also qualified for the USCAA Nationals in 2011-12 and 2014-15 by way of receiving at large bids. Brady was named Sunrise Conference Coach of the year in 2008-09 and 2009-10 before being named as Yankee Small College Conference (USCAA) Coach of the Year in 2011-12 following Machias change in conference affiliation.

Manatee Community College – Served as an assistant coach for two years before being named head coach for six years. Brady built a program from a winless season in his second year to an 18 win season and a conference championship appearance 3 years later. 

Brady was a dean's list student and 1996 graduate of Palm Beach Atlantic College with a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education and Secondary Education. Brady earned Academic All-American honors while a member of the men's basketball team. He was a three year starter and completed his collegiate career with school records for three-pointers in a game, season, and career. Brady was named PBAC's rookie athlete of the year in 1994.

Brady received his master's degree in Physical Education and Teacher Education from Florida State University in 1997.

Brady is married to his wife Latonia, and they have two daughters, Piper and Ryser.
