Kiante Williams Named Alabama Community College Conference (ACCC) Player of the Week
Reid State Technical College’s Kiante Williams has been named the Alabama Community College Conference (ACCC) Player of the Week for his outstanding performance during the week.
Williams, a freshman forward/center for the Reid State Lions, has quickly made a name for himself with his dominant presence on the court.
A native of Lubbock, Texas, and a graduate of Escado High School, Williams has been a standout player for the Lions in his first season at the college level. Over the past week, he posted an impressive stat line that includes 16 points per game, 15 rebounds per game, 3 assists per game, 2 steals per game, and 3 blocks per game. His shooting accuracy has been equally remarkable, as he connected on 54% of his field goal attempts and an impressive 83% from the free-throw line.
Williams' contributions on both ends of the floor have been critical to the success of his team. His ability to score, rebound, and defend has helped Reid State maintain a competitive edge throughout the season. With a blend of athleticism, skill, and determination, Williams is quickly establishing himself as one of the premier players in the ACCC.
