Reid State Golf Team Concludes Fall Season at LBW Invitational
Greenville, AL – October 22, 2024 – The Reid State Golf Team wrapped up their fall season at the LBW Invitational, held October 21-22, 2024, at the stunning Robert Trent Jones (RTJ) course at Cambrian Ridge in Greenville, Alabama.
Greenville, AL – October 22, 2024 – The Reid State Golf Team wrapped up their fall season at the LBW Invitational, held October 21-22, 2024, at the stunning Robert Trent Jones (RTJ) course at Cambrian Ridge in Greenville, Alabama. The two-day tournament featured 18 holes each day, challenging golfers to navigate one of the most beautiful and demanding layouts in the region.
The course itself, a hallmark of the RTJ Golf Trail, lived up to its reputation. With its rolling fairways, water hazards, and strategically placed bunkers, Cambrian Ridge provided a tough test for both seasoned players and newcomers alike. The team faced a variety of challenges, but Coach Brady remains optimistic about the lessons learned over the course of the event.
"It was a great experience for our team to compete in this tournament on this very difficult course," said Coach Brady. "Our guys are learning a lot about what it is like to compete in tournament golf. I am excited to see how we improve moving into the spring season."
Throughout the tournament, the Reid State team demonstrated resilience and poise despite the challenges, with individual players gaining valuable experience that will surely serve them well in the future. The competition provided a fantastic opportunity to test their skills against some of the region's top college golfers.
